Here’s what you need to know:

What Runner H Can Do for You

• Hands-off Web Tasks
  Just describe what you need in natural language—whether it’s scraping product listings, filling out forms, or compiling data—and Runner H will spin up an agent that actually drives a real browser to get it done. In my demo, I had it search eBay for Pokémon card listings, extract the top 10, and automatically populate a Google Sheet with the titles and links.

• Parallel Agents
  You’re not limited to one task at a time: you can launch multiple agents in parallel, each running its own browser session. That means you can tackle several data-gathering or automation jobs simultaneously without breaking a sweat.

• Built-In Integrations
  Runner H connects seamlessly to Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, Notion, Slack, Zapier, and more via simple OAuth. You can also supply custom API keys or authentication tokens, and soon you’ll even be able to have agents handle payments on your behalf.

Under the Hood: Surfer H + Hollow 1

H Company’s framework, Surfer H, consists of three core modules:

1. Policy – Plans each action in sequence (e.g., “go to URL → scroll → click”)

2. Localizer – Given a description of a button or link, pinpoints its exact screen coordinates

3. Validator – Checks whether the task result meets your goal and, if not, feeds back to retry

The Hollow 1 model family specializes in web navigation (deciding what to click or scroll) and UI localization (finding where to click). Both models are lightweight, efficient, and available on Hugging Face with open weights—so you can download them, fine-tune them, or build entirely new agents.

Performance & Cost

According to their Web Voyager benchmark tests, Runner H powered by Hollow 1 achieves a 92.2 % success rate—state-of-the-art—while costing only about $0.13 per task. By comparison:

• Runner H + GPT-4 achieves 84.3 % at $0.71 per task

• Runner H + a smaller 4.1-mini model hits 88 % at $0.26 per task

If you don’t need the absolute top accuracy, you can use the 3 B-parameter Hollow 1 variant to shave even more off your cost with only a minor drop in performance.

Fine-Tuning Your Level of Oversight

You choose how much human review to include—fully automated, moderately involved, or highly involved. And with the “Files” tab, you can revisit past runs, inspect logs, and re-run tasks with adjusted parameters.

Coming Soon: Tester H

On top of Runner H, H Company is rolling out Tester H (private beta), a plain-language QA tool for your own websites or apps. Define tests like “Given I’m on my signup page, click the orange ‘Submit’ button and verify the welcome message appears,” hit go, and Tester H will run end-to-end checks in a real browser.
